MultiMC

  2. Java Download
  3. Multimc Modpacks

We recommend MultiMC to more easily install and run Minecraft with mods; install the most up-to-date version of Fabric Loader; download the latest version of Fabric API and drop the jar file in your mods folder; download the latest version of Charm and drop the jar file in your mods folder. Make sure you choose the Fabric version! Multimac is a unique, multiple child seat system, which fits securely on the back seat of your car, and accommodates children from birth to 12 years old. Or move your minecraft install/MultiMC folder to a different place on your HDD or another hard drive entirely. Usually when a program cant write to a folder or a file its because of a failing drive because that sector or block of the drive is unwritable. MultiMC is an alternative launcher for minecraft which some may wish to have in place of the default FTB launcher with the ability to create 'instances' these allow the user to have an infinite amount of separate jars with no restrictions to modpacks or memory allowances. This will also allow the user to play FTB 'offline' or without the use. Welcome to my tutorial series in MultiMC. In this video, I will be talking about what MultiMC is, and what makes it in my opinion the best Minecraft launcher.

OptiFine in MultiMC
MultiMC
The OptiFine installer requires that MC be installed in the default launcher and has opened the version of MC at least once. Do this first.
1. Download OptiFine
2. Extract OptiFine
a. Double click the download from step 1
b. Click Extract button
c. Navigate to MultiMC instance you wish to install OptiFine into (C:mcMultiMCinstances1.13.minecraft)
3. Move extracted Optifine to instance libraries folder (C:mcMultiMCinstances1.13libraries)
4. In MultiMC edit instance, go to Version screen and select the Minecraft entry in the list. Then click Add to Minecraft.jar
5. Select the OptiFine file you extracted and moved in step 3.

I'm not sure about that problem specifically, but you can actually include the original Optifine .jar file (NOT the one that was extracted) in the mods folder since you're using Forge. I've used Optifine this way when I use Forge for a while now, and it hasn't given me any issues. Make sure you reverse the changes you made trying to get it to work previously first. If this doesn't work for some reason, I'll see if I can help with the former issue.

That did not work either. Here's why: https://pastebin.com/DmaRrXJL

About Microsoft accounts

By now you’ve probably heard the news that Mojang will be migrating everyone’s Minecraft accounts to Microsoft accounts. If you haven’t, please read their announcement here, and then come back to read this article.

With this new change, the game’s login system will change significantly, and a lot of people are understandably concerned about what this means for the future of MultiMC, so we are making this post to hopefully put your minds at ease.

In the coming months, MultiMC will be updated to support the new login system. As of now, Mojang has not started the migration process, so we are hoping to support the new system before they begin migrating accounts, but we can’t guarantee that will happen.

Is Multimc Safe

If Mojang begins migrating accounts before MultiMC has been updated to support the new system, we advise that you wait until MultiMC is updated before migrating your account. If you migrate your account before MultiMC supports the new login system, you will not be able to use MultiMC until the new system is implemented.

Java Download

Also, please do not fall prey to random internet strangers telling you to migrate your Mojang account before Mojang tells you it’s time to do so. You will be notified either in the vanilla launcher, or the Minecraft.net website when logged in. Not a random internet page with a login form. We may also have something that notifies you in MultiMC in an upcoming update, but please verify that it is an official, unmodified build from multimc.org.

The migration should happen only through Minecraft.net.

Multimc Modpacks

Once MultiMC has implemented the new login system, we will post another article on here, and you will then be able to safely migrate your account and continue using MultiMC as before.
